The seat became vacant after Chris Cournoyer (R) resigned to serve as lieutenant governor.


2/15/25: DE SD-01 (D+48): TBD

The seat became vacant after Sarah McBride (D) resigned following her election to the U.S. House of Representatives.

The seat became vacant after Kyle Evans Gay (D) resigned following her election as Lt. Governor of Delaware.


2/25/25: ME HD-024 (D+16): Sean Faircloth

This seat became vacant after Dem Rep Joseph Perry resigned after being appointed state treasurer.


2/25/25: CA AD-32 (R+33): Chris Cruz-Boone

The seat became vacant when Vince Fong (R) was elected to both the state Assembly and California's 20th Congressional District. Fong never assumed the state Assembly seat after the election. Cruz-Boone is the only Democrat running in the 2/25/25 open primary; the general election is on 4/29/25.

This seat is vacant due to Dem Sen. Cleo Fields winning a U.S. House seat for LA-06. The All Candidate primary will take place on 2/15/25.


3/29/25: LA SD-23 (R+53): Kristopher Harrison

This seat is vacant due to GOP Jean-Paul Coussan winning a LA Public Service Commission seat. The All Candidate primary will take place on 2/15/25.


4/01/25: WI Supreme Ct: Susan Crawford

This race is to replace outgoing liberal Justice Ann Walsh Bradely, who is retiring.


4/01/25: WI Public Instruction Super: Dr. Jill Underly

This race is for Wisconsin Superintendent of Public Instruction.


4/01/25: FL-01 (R+19): Gay Valimont

Valimont is running to replace Matt Gaetz, who resigned his office in the wake of sexual assault allegations & being nominated by Donald Trump to be U.S. Attorney General (before withdrawing from contention).


4/01/25: FL-06 (R+14): TBD

This seat will become vacant due to GOP Rep. Mike Waltz being nominated by Donald Trump to be National Security Advisor.


4/29/25: CA SD-36 (EVEN): TBD

The seat became vacant when Janet Nguyen (R) resigned following her election to the Orange County Board of Supervisors.


5/13/25: OK SD-08 (R+36): Nathan Brewer

The seat became vacant after Roger Thompson (R) announced his resignation.

The seat became vacant after Mark Vancuren (R) announced his resignation.

The seat became vacant after Greg Reed (R) was appointed to be Gov. Kay Ivey's Senior Advisor to Workforce Transformation.
