With our rights under constant attack by Republicans, it can be hard to have holiday cheer. This holiday season, the Austin Young Democrats are fighting back. Youth voter turnout will make the difference in the 2024 election.
Young voters in Travis (Texas’ bluest county) are the key to flipping Texas. The last time Ted Cruz was on the ballot, he lost by just 280,000 votes. There are at least 200,000 young democrats registered in Austin but not voting. If we can get young people out to vote Ted Cruz doesn’t stand a chance.
To get young people out to vote, AYD needs your help. We need resources in order to run the successful campaign we’ve envisioned for the 2024 cycle. Help sponsor our grassroots, youth-led campaign by contributing at any of the tiers below:
- $50 = sponsor membership dues for 5 new members
- $100 = 100 phone calls to voters
- $250 = 100 doors knocked
- $500 = 10,000 get out the vote texts to young voters
