South Shore to Ohio - 10/23-10/25 Weekend

This form is for volunteers who are committed to joining the South Shore Dems for a trip to Parma, OH leaving on Friday, October 23 and returning on Sunday evening, October 25.

WHAT: Canvassing in the Parma area to get out the vote for Brian Poindexter, Sherrod Brown, Amy Acton and the Democratic Ticket.

WHY: OH is a state that could have the largest impact on the control of the House of Representatives and the Senate. Additionally, Amy Acton is an incredible candidate for Governor and is absolutely more qualified to represent the great people of Ohio than the Republican nominee-Vivek Ramaswamy! Democrats need to win in Ohio to stop the chaos coming from the White House.

RSVP: We are asking for a small donation of $10 on this page to secure your spot and commit that you are attending - if this donation presents an issue, please let us know.

TRAVEL: We will be flying to Cleveland, OH from Boston Logan Airport. Please let us know if you would be willing to drive a rental car.

LODGING: We are booking hotels with double occupancy. Single occupancy hotel rooms will be available at an additional expense to the canvasser, however we may be able to reimburse your costs after the fact if we have excess funds after the election. We will cover transportation from the hotel to canvass launches.

MEALS: Our goal is to cover the cost of meals and we have budgeted $70 per day, per person in line with the federal per diem rate for the Cleveland region.

Who is the South Shore Democratic Caucus Federal PAC?

The South Shore Democratic Caucus was established to further the efforts of the Democratic Party on Massachusetts South Shore. We are a coalition of Democratic Activists from Hingham, Cohasset, Duxbury, Scituate, Norwell, Marshfield, Hull and Weymouth that have activated to be a powerhouse to elect democrats across the country.
