South Shore to PA - GOTV Weekend

This form is for volunteers who are committed to joining the South Shore Dems for a trip to Scranton, PA leaving on Friday, October 30 and returning on Sunday evening, November 1.

WHAT: Canvassing in the Scranton, PA to get out the vote for Paige Cognetti, Josh Shapiro and the Democratic Ticket

WHY: This is the most important election of our lifetimes, and Democrats need to win in Pennsylvania to stop the chaos coming from the White House.

RSVP: We are asking for a small donation of $10 on this page to secure your spot and commit that you are attending - if this donation presents an issue, please let us know.

TRAVEL: We will be driving to Scranton, PA from the South Shore. If you are willing to drive (SSDC Federal PAC can reimburse you for gas) please select a driver "ticket", if you would prefer to be a passenger, choose a "passenger" ticket. If you would prefer to buy your own ticket and fly into Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Airport we can coordinate picking you up at the airport, but you will need to pay for your own airfare.

LODGING: We are booking Hotels and/or AirBnBs with multiple bedrooms - some of these bedrooms will have two beds. If you are travelling with a partner or friend you would prefer to room with, please let us know. If you require a single occupancy room we will connect you with local hotels. Single occupancy hotel rooms will be at an additional expense to the canvasser, however we may be able to reimburse your costs after the fact if we have excess funds after the election. We will cover transportation from the hotel to canvass launches.

MEALS: Our goal is to cover the cost of meals and we have budgeted $70 per day, per person in line with the federal per diem rate for the Scranton region.

Who is the South Shore Democratic Caucus Federal PAC?

The South Shore Democratic Caucus was established to further the efforts of the Democratic Party on Massachusetts South Shore. We are a coalition of Democratic Activists from Hingham, Cohasset, Duxbury, Scituate, Norwell, Marshfield, Hull and Weymouth that have activated to be a powerhouse to elect democrats across the country.
