Building a Truth-Based Media Presence – YouTube, Podcasts, Influencers, and More

Let’s fight disinformation with REAL information. Disinformation threatens our democracy by fueling polarization, undermining trust, and destroying the belief in the public good. The 2024 election was full of historic media dysfunction. Now, we need to build an strong infrastructure -beyond newspapers – to ensure that does not happen again. This event will highlight leading voices in the movement to build a progressive information collective and reach voters where they are with meaningful, relevant, fact-based information. Courier Newsroom and Chorus are creating this presence – via social media and more – to combat and correct lies that permeated the most recent election – and further, to reframe the discussion and help move the electoral needle.

All donations made on this page go directly to Chorus and the Courier Newsroom. SSPA does not receive or handle any portion of any of the contributions made on this page.
