This is deeply personal to me. I’ve met with rural health workers in our district. I’ve spoken with families who rely on Medicaid to care for their kids. I’ve heard from doctors who are already stretched thin.
This bill doesn’t reflect the values of Virginia — and it certainly doesn’t reflect the needs of our communities. That’s why I stood up and voted no. But the fight doesn’t end there.
