Collin County is the best place to live in Texas. The cities in Collin County consistently rank at the top of best places surveys, year after year.
But no one from Collin County Government has attended a NCTCOG’s Emergency Planning and Preparedness Committee meeting since 2018 (leaving us unprepared for either the pandemic, blackout, or snowstorm), the Commissioners Court holds our cities in disdain, fights with the other elected officials, and our Sheriff’s department is way underfunded.
Collin County needs to plan for the future again. If Collin County is going to grow into a county of 3 million people we have to have a government that works for all of our people and cooperates with all of our local governments.
