Heroes do not always wear capes. Sometimes, they wear work boots, military uniforms, hospital scrubs, or teacher identification badges. Sometimes, they are parents working two jobs and still struggling to keep food on the table and a roof over their children’s heads.
Standing Heroes for Average Workers, Inc. was created to stand beside the people too often overlooked: working families, veterans, educators, students, seniors, and individuals facing homelessness or financial crisis.
Your contribution helps us provide food assistance, support families at risk of losing their homes, connect veterans and seniors with essential resources, advocate for workers and students, and give people in crisis the support they need to regain stability.
A gift of $10, $25, $50, $100, or any amount can help a family move from uncertainty toward hope. A monthly contribution allows us to respond when a crisis happens, not weeks later, but when help is needed most.
These are not strangers. They are our neighbors, our coworkers, our veterans, our teachers, and our families. They work hard, serve others, and carry our communities every day. Now, they need someone willing to stand for them.
