State Slate: Arizona
The State Slate is an effort by the tech community to help excellent Democratic candidates in winnable state races nationwide. This page is for people who want to focus their donations on our 7 candidates in Arizona.
Both the state house and state senate races are extremely competitive this year in Arizona—we need to win 2 and 3 seats respectively).
Arizona also has a pivotal national Senate race, where right now Democrat Mark Kelly has a strong polling lead over Martha McSally.
Arizona is a state where demographic change is rapidly moving the electorate leftwards. While the state went for Trump in 2016, it's very possible Biden could win it in 2020. Supporting state house and state senate candidates ensures we reach every available pocket of Democratic voters in the state to make that victory happen.
