John Lira

Welcome Back, Steadfast friend!

We’re Going to Win TX-35 in 2026!

You were a steadfast supporter in 2022 when I fought it out in one of the toughest Congressional districts in Texas. We came closer than anyone thought possible. This year, the Texas Legislature disenfranchised a lot of voters with their mid-decade gerrymander, but they made one big mistake: they drew me into a brand-new district–and we will win it.

I was born and raised on San Antonio’s southeast side. I joined the Marines straight out of high school, served in Iraq, and came home to keep serving. I continued my service as an active reserve intelligence analyst (E-5) while completing my college education.

I’ve dedicated my career to service — from helping veterans start their own businesses to serving as the senior presidential advisor for AmeriCorps.

That’s the spirit I’m bringing to this race for TX-35. And with your renewed support, we’re going to build the campaign that will win this seat.

This isn’t just about raising money — it’s about proving, early and decisively, that we have the firepower to go the distance. Your leadership support now will help me:

  • Hire the team we need to organize every corner of the district
  • Reach voters with our message of service and integrity
  • Go toe-to-toe with entrenched Republican money

Please match what you gave in 2022 — or go beyond it if you can, with your steadfast support. The per-person limit is now $3,500 — easy to remember because it’s the 35th District.

I’m excited, I’m ready, and I’m asking you to get back in the fight with me. Together, we’ll make history in TX-35.

Let’s do this.

Chip in today and let’s win TX-35 in 2026.

Thank you, my friend! John
