Stop Project 2025

This page was set up to help Vice President Kamala Harris win in 2024 and stop Donald Trump from implementing Project 2025.

Donald Trump’s first term was filled with a mix of incompetence and chaos. He spent much of his first years in office embroiled in scandal, tweeting, refusing to staff the government and generally not getting much done.

Conservative dark money groups like the Heritage Foundation among others are looking to ensure a second Trump term is much different. They have laid out a strategy called Project 2025 to help Trump become “a dictator on day one”.

Here are just a few of Project 2025’s plans:

Government: Project 2025 aims to reclassify tens-of-thousands of merit-based non-partisan federal civil servant jobs as political appointees loyal to Donald Trump.

Executive Branch: Project 2025 aims to abolish NOAA, the Department of Education, the and the Department of Commerce, defund the Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Justice as well as eliminating the independence of numerous government agencies and ensure that they are loyal only to Donald Trump and Donald Trump alone.

Civil rights: Project 2025 aims to enfuse the government with the principles of Christianity, outlaw pornography, eliminate protections from discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity for LGBT individuals, and focus civil rights investigations on “anti-white racism”.

Education: Project 2025 aims to eliminate Head Start, free school lunch funding as well as federal funds for low-income students.

Health: Project 2025 aims to cut Medicaid, end Medicare’s ability to negotiate drug prices, eliminate health coverage of emergency contraceptives, and reject abortion as health care.

Taxes: Project 2025 aims to give a massive tax cut for corporations and the wealthy and institute a requirement that any reversal of that tax cut require a 3/5 majority vote.

Environment: Project 2025 aims to reverse the EPA finding that carbon dioxide emissions are harmful to human health, repeal regulations that curb greenhouse gas emissions, prevent states from adopting stricter regulations to curb fossil fuel emissions, shut down loan programs for clean energy as well as increase coal production.

There is just a short sample. You can see the full 900-page document here: Project 2025

The fundraising goal of this page is to raise money for the state-level Democratic parties in swing states that will be critical to establishing a robust Get Out The Vote effort this November.

Presidential elections are a team effort. The election isn't won or lost with the candidate's campaign alone. It's a collaborative effort between the candidate, state level parties, as well as local parties who all work together to GOTV.

Donations will be split evenly between the Biden campaign and the following 7 party committees:

Michigan Democratic Party

Wisconsin Democratic Party

Pennsylvania Democratic Party

Arizona Democratic Party

Nevada Democratic Party

Georgia Democratic Party

Douglas County Democratic Party

(Douglas is the state of Nebraska's largest county. Nebraska awards an electoral vote to the winner of each congressional district. Douglas makes up 90 percent of Nebraska's second congressional district. It includes Omaha and has a population of 590,000 people. The district is expected to be a Toss Up.)

Additionally, if you'd like to donate to county-level Democratic parties in swing states, you can do so here:
