Strike Ready Party and Fundraiser!

Raise Big Green to Beat Big Brown!

This summer, Teamsters are fighting back against UPS and corporate greed! Their contact fight has begun—to win livable wages, equal pay for equal work, and safe and dignified conditions on the job—and DSA is ready to stand in solidarity with Teamsters if they need to strike.

Join us to party and get ready to support Teamsters in their fight. We'll hear speeches from current Teamsters activists, members who were involved in the historic 1997 strike on UPS, and Teamsters for a Democratic Union involved in long-haul reform organizing of their union.

And we'll also have drinks and music :)

Right now we expect we'll need at least $2,900 for strike support activities! We'll be spending $500 for signs, $2,000 on food and water, and $400 for any last minute costs. We need your help to reach our goal! So pitch in, invite a friend, and join us for a fun night.

When: Friday, June 23, 2023 • 6:00 PM

Where: Jacobin Magazine • 388 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn
