Mahlon Mitchell is the next generation leader Wisconsin needs. He was born in Milwaukee, grew up in Delvan, and now lives in Fitchburg, outside Madison, with his wife, April, and their two children.
Mahlon is a seasoned professional fire fighter running for the Democratic nomination for Governor of Wisconsin. He became a fire figher 20 years ago, following in the footsteps of his brother, and his career has been fueled by his values of service and giving back to his community. Mahlon currently serves as the President of the Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin, being the youngest and first African American to serve in the position.
Mahlon has dedicated his career to helping youth and making sure public servants receive the benefits they deserve. He also took on Scott Walker's administration during the 2012 recall by running for Lieutenant Governor.
We believe that Strong Wisconsin can solidify Mahlon's path to victory not only in the primary, but in the general election in November.
