Chris Christie may have been forced to abort his presidential campaign following a humiliating defeat in the New Hampshire primary, but he's still chasing the national limelight. Now Christie has endorsed Donald Trump for president, and will travel the country stumping for a bullying billionaire whose brand of racist demagoguery is totally out of step with New Jersey values.
The worst part? When Christie stumps for Trump, chances are he'll do it on the dime of hardworking New Jerseyans.
Chris Christie spent 261 days of 2015 campaigning outside of NJ instead of doing his actual job, forcing taxpayers to foot the bill by using upwards of $1 million in public dollars to cover the costs of his official security detail while stumping out of state. Now we stand to lose even more precious public resources that should go to the public good.
We're suing Christie to recover the public dollars he misused in his failed presidential bid and to block him for wasting any more of our taxpayer dollars promoting Donald Trump's campaign.
Can you contribute to our legal expenses and help force Christie to return the public dollars he's wasted on his own ambitions?
