Support Thad O'Neil for Suffolk County LD3

Thad O’Neil was born and raised in Suffolk County and calls Brookhaven and the Great South Bay his home. An educator, small business owner, and nonprofit leader, Thad understands the needs and struggles of Suffolk County residents. Thad is running for the County Legislature to build a future for his children which is safe, affordable, and clean.

AS YOUR LEGISLATOR, THADDEUS WILL:

• Transparently represent the will of his constituents and be the conduit to make their experiences and needs heard so that quality of life can be improved for ALL.

• Work to build a bi-partisan coalition to ensure the well-being and public safety of our communities.

• Work to restore and preserve our water, open spaces, and natural environment.

• Fight to protect our tax base with new revenue sources through development and investment in green economies, green education and green infrastructures to make Suffolk County and Long Island the cradle of the emergent green industry of the future that it was for aeronautics in the past.

• Codify county wide waste reduction, composting, and recycling initiatives to make the necessary push toward a zero waste future.

• Spearhead the coordination with the Town Supervisor to CLOSE THE LANDFILL that is an existential regional threat, contaminating our communities, undermining our future economy and putting our families at risk.

• Propose the implementation of a coordinated and sound

transport infrastructure county wide to resolve notoriously poor traffic flow patterns, deteriorating roads, and to devise a committed plan to dramatically improve our public transport.
