Suffragists' Tea
Join us on Sunday March 8th for a Suffragists' Tea celebrating the 100th year of Women's Right to Vote. The event will feature a portrayal of a local Suffragist by area actress Yvonne Hudson and live music performed by the Washington Jazz Orchestra. The tea will be followed by a short Suffragist March down Main Street. Light tea sandwiches, biscuits and desserts will be served. Period clothing is welcomed, but not necessary.
Suffragists sashes will be available for purchase. Sashes are being hand sewn by an amazing group of women specifically for this event.
