The 2026 Democrats Summer Picnic
Join us the Whatcom Democrats and the 42LD at Hovander Park Picnic shelter to kick off the 2026 Campaign!
The Whatcom Democrats and the 42LD are coming together to meet and greet the candidates, while we eat amazing food, enjoy a beer, listen to live local musical acts, or just have good old fashioned fun!
Bring your whole family, we have tons of all ages activities planned and face painting for kids and adults!
Menu will be featuring pulled pork sandwiches, beef hot dogs, and veggie burgers. We will provide coleslaw, pasta salad (vegetarian) and a leafy green salad. Be sure to let us know your selection when you pay for your ticket.
Be sure to also bring your favorite salads and sides to share with everyone potluck style!
Bid for your favorite dessert as the candidates compete in our dessert contest and auction.
