After growing up in rural Will County, my life's journey led me to become a Registered Nurse. I have worked in every aspect of nursing, from the emergency room to home health — I chose to learn every job I could as a "float" nurse, floating between each department.
Later, I ran for Will County Board, which gave me the insight into each and every department of this county. A few months ago, I accepted a job to work for our coroner as Deputy Chief Coroner, learning the job. Little did I know that this life's experience would lead to me run for Coroner.
If elected, I’ll be the first Will County Coroner who’s actually been a nurse – not to mention, the first coroner who’s a woman, or who hails from the eastern side of the county.
But I need your help. I can’t do this without your support. Please donate what you can to support my candidacy in the general election on November 3, 2020!
Sincerely,
Laurie Summers
