After three years of pressure on the Biden Administration from our movement, we finally won a Civilian Climate Corps — one of our biggest demands!
The newly announced Climate Corps will put thousands of young people to work serving their communities and fighting the climate crisis. Since 2020, our movement has been at the frontlines of the fight for a Climate Corps — transforming it from an idea into a reality. We’ve worked hard organizing our communities, protesting, building coalitions, and pressuring our elected officials to support the formation of a Civilian Climate Corps.
This is a big victory AND the fight isn't over. Our work will only be done when we break the grip of the fossil fuel industry and secure a livable future for all under a Green New Deal.
