Sunrise NYC Book Fair

Sunrise NYC Book Fair

Do you miss the Scholastic Book Fair? Does buying books impulsively make you feel alive? Do you have some books that you can give away to make room for more books? Then join Sunrise NYC at our Book Fair on December 4th at 6PM at Starr Bar! Browse, read, learn, and mingle with us. All ticket holders will receive two used books of their choice and admission to our writers panel on Science Fiction, Climate Change, and Writing for the Future. Special guests include Yume Kitasei, author of Saltcrop, and Victor Manibo, author of Escape Velocity.

Additional books will be for sale at a discounted price. All proceeds will benefit the Sunrise Movement's New York City Chapter. We are a group of young people fighting for a safe, just, and affordable future in New York by taking on the polluters and oligarchs who threaten our city.

If you have books to donate, please bring them to the door or reach out to Joe McKie at hello@sunrisenyc.org to coordinate a pickup.
