The Sunrise Movement’s Boston Hub is taking action to stop climate change and create millions of jobs. Your donation pays for critical resources that we need not only to fight climate change, but also to show up for our allies in police abolition and protecting our communities from the fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic. There is no climate justice without racial justice and public health.
Because of donors like you, we are able to:
- Support actions to protect Black lives in the Greater Boston area and follow the lead of our partner organizations engaged in the fight against police brutality
- Support COVID mutual aid networks across the Commonwealth
- Train as many young people as possible to become leaders in intersectional climate organizing
- Create art for COVID-safe public information campaigns
- Host online meetings for the larger Boston hub and for the smaller teams within our hub

- Helped recruit over 20,000 people to the Climate Strike on September 20, 2019
- Elected 7 of the 8 city councilors we endorsed
