Denver Sunrise Movement Fundraising
For every generation, there is a defining moment that determines their legacy. A movement that changes how the rest of the country sees them and what will go down in history as their monumental accomplishment. For our generation, our legacy is solely dependent on whether or not we will have a world to exist in when we are old. Climate change is the single biggest threat to our future, and we are speaking out to put a stop to it!
Our movement has been leading the way to ensure that every US Senate, presidential, and local office candidate signs the No Fossil Fuel Money pledge, and puts climate change at the front of their campaign. We have mobilized dozens of young people to speak at town halls and confront their representatives about the climate crisis. As one of the most influential grassroots movements in the nation, we have set a precedent for how young people engage in democracy…and we are just getting started.
