We are Sunrise Tacoma! We are a local hub of the Sunrise Movement in Tacoma Washington. We are a youth led movement that fights for good jobs and a livable future. In 2019 we helped to get the City of Tacoma to declare a climate emergency. Although this was a big step in the right direction, we are fighting for the city to act on their words. The city knows there is a climate emergency and they need to act like it! We are fighting to protect our waters, our land, our community, and our future!
