When I was young, I shared a three bedroom apartment with ten people because my family could not afford better conditions. I hid in that home for fear of being caught by the landlord. It took years for my family to find stable housing. I understand the housing crisis on a visceral level, and I have fought to end it.
I have fought the housing crisis just as I have fought against climate change and for better public health. As a Councilor, I'm proud to have led the successful fight to end parking minimums & invested in more dedicated bus and bike lanes. I believe in change. I believe that together we will build a better city. If we don’t lead, who will?
To build a movement that belongs to all of us, I need your support.
