Anusha Thotakura

Fight for the schools our kids deserve: support Anusha today.

As a former teacher and elected Board of Education member, Anusha Thotakura made District 6A a promise: put students first and make sure every child has the schools they deserve. Here's what she's delivered — and why she needs your support to keep going.

🍎 Healthier buildings: Anusha created the Healthy Green Schools Fund to remove mold, lead pipes, and asbestos from schools across the district. Healthier buildings mean better attendance, better focus, and better outcomes.

🍎 Smarter spending: Her Healthy Green Schools Resolution passed unanimously, bringing solar panels, heat pumps, and geothermal systems to District 6A. Energy savings go straight back into classrooms — saving CPS millions and putting money where it belongs.

🍎Career pathways: Under Anusha's leadership, CPS is embedding job training in clean energy projects, giving District 6A students hands-on experience in solar, construction, and clean energy fields.

This work is just the beginning. Chip in today to keep Anusha fighting for the schools our kids deserve.
