AND’s Public Art Initiative

#ArtatAscendant

Our Public Art Initiative is bringing together artists, youth, and East Harlem residents through collaborative art-making, neighborhood beautification, and community activism. We do this by incorporating community-created publicly accessible art on AND’s current properties and future developments.

Building and preserving affordable housing in New York City is no small task, and we could not do it without our passionate network of advocates and allies. As we find new strength and resilience during this pandemic, we recognize that this burden falls to those of us in the privileged position to be able to create more safe and affordable housing for those in need.
