Support Racial Justice Organizations in Minnesota

With the deaths of George Floyd & now Daunte Wright at the hands of police, Minnesota is at the epicenter of the racial justice movement.


This fund supports three key Minnesota-based racial & social justice organizations. Donations go directly to these groups.


If you want to donate in honor of Floyd & Wright, this is a great way to help empower the organizations doing the hard work on the ground in Minnesota.


  1. Black Visions Collective Black Visions Collective is putting into practice the lessons learned from organizations who came before it in order to shape a political home for Black people across Minnesota. BLVC is building an organization with the capacity to change the policies, culture and leadership of Minnesota’s progressive movement in order to transform the lives of Black Minnesotans across the diaspora.
  2. TakeAction Minnesota TakeAction Minnesota is a statewide, multiracial network of people working to build independent political power and realize racial, gender, and economic justice across Minnesota. They represent a network of 55,000 people across the state and 22 organizational members. Through grassroots organizing, electoral politics, corporate and legislative campaigns, and training and leadership development, they are making change today so more is possible in the future.
  3. Minnesota Voice Minnesota Voice is a member-based coalition of non-profit organizations founded in 2014 working toward permanent change in racial, social, and economic justice by increasing civic engagement and voter participation across the state, especially focused in underrepresented communities; making sure that every Minnesotans’ voice is heard, and the state reflects the values of its people.


As fund sponsor, DemCast is also included as a recipient. Any resources that we bring in will support our social justice social media campaigns to help boost the movement in the digital space.
