Power Our 2026 Electoral Work: Win the Midterms, Stop MAGA

We are now in a decisive phase of the fight against authoritarianism. Since Trump returned to office, immigrants and US-born working families alike have faced a series of attacks. 350,000 people have been arrested by federal agents, 300-400,000 detained, and over 32 killed.

But MAGA is temporarily weak. Fifteen million people have protested this administration. A recent poll shows a supermajority disapproves of ICE. And politically, Republicans now face 18 U.S. House races rated as Toss-Ups.

Between now and the end of 2028, SURJ will work to defeat MAGA at the ballot box by reaching 1 million white people in key swing states, and take responsibility for mobilizing another 1 million white people to show up in the streets to resist when key red lines are crossed, such as an attempt to steal the election.

And to do that, we need to build mass organization at the scale needed to win. This starts now, in 2026, with our campaign, “Block by Block: Solidarity Rising, where we’re working to elect FIGHTERS in 10 races around the country.

This year is our biggest electoral test yet. We need to put working-class champions in office and stop MAGA from gaining further footholds in the federal government.

Make a contribution today to power our electoral work in the key states we need to win this year and beyond!
