Showing Up for Racial Justice

Help protect voting rights with a split gift to SURJ and Black Voters Matter

Building transformative electoral impact for 2022 and beyond!

Black Voters Matter Fund increases works in Southern communities increasing voter registration and turnout, advocating for policies to expand voting rights/access and early voting, re-entry restoration of rights, resisting discriminatory voter ID laws, and strengthening the Voting Rights Act. We also advocate for policies that intersect with race, gender, economic and other aspects of equity.

SURJ works in majority-white communities in deep solidarity with communities of color to grow the political base of support for racial and economic justice. We know that the right works hard to keep white people separated from movements for justice. SURJ's organizing focuses on bringing more white people into campaigns and movements for justice.

SURJ and BVM are each 501c4 organizations doing political, advocacy and lobbying work. Contributions to SURJ or Black Voters Matter Fund are not tax-deductible.
