SURJ has an excellent plan to contend for the presidency, going after the same 9 million white voters that the Trump campaign needs to win. Our work across 6 priority states with some of the best field programs around has already engaged thousands of volunteers, and we will engage thousands more before election day.
We are focused on door knocking, phone banking, and texting persuadable white voters in 6 states: Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
If we are able to cut into Trump’s support among white voters, we will win. Our volunteers are trained on empathetic listening and connecting. We don’t just share talking points with voters and ask for their vote. We ask them what matters to them, really hear them, and connect meaningfully.
