WHY THIS RACE
Reelecting Representative Kari Rehrauer and holding onto this seat is a must for Democrats to regain control of the currently divided House and redeliver a Democratic trifecta for Minnesotans. As one of the closest wins in the state in 2024, we know that this is a top target for Democrats and Republicans alike—making early investment even more critical.
WHY MINNESOTA
Minnesota is one of the most important electoral battlegrounds in 2026, with both open gubernatorial and U.S. senate races, and control of both state legislative chambers up for grabs, creating a rare opportunity to shape the state’s political future. Success in Minnesota would allow Democrats to protect and expand progress on affordability, health care, and education, while reinforcing the state’s role as a critical Midwestern stronghold. With high-profile statewide races driving turnout and attention, down-ballot victories will be essential to ensuring Democrats can translate that energy into sustained governing power.
