Eileen Hartnett Albillar is running to flip Senate District 6, fighting for working families in Pennsylvania. She is currently the Bucks County Clerk of Courts and a former Warrington Township Supervisor, social worker, nonprofit executive, and longtime community advocate. She has spent more than two decades helping families access housing, economic assistance, and community services throughout Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
As Clerk of Courts, she has focused on improving government efficiency, increasing transparency, and ensuring victims receive the restitution owed to them. Prior to her countywide election, she served on the Warrington Township Board of Supervisors, where she worked on public safety, open space preservation, and responsible growth initiatives.
Eileen is a mother, public servant, and lifelong advocate for working families, who believes Harrisburg needs leaders focused on affordability and practical solutions rather than partisan politics.
WHY THIS RACE
Republicans currently control the Pennsylvania State Senate, and flipping Senate District 6 is critical to breaking that hold on power and advancing policies for Bucks County families. This seat represents a key opportunity for Democrats to expand their coalition and build momentum toward a more balanced and responsive state government. Electing Eileen means sending a proven public servant to fight for fully funded schools, affordable health care, public transportation, and an economy that works for working families.
WHY PENNSYLVANIA
A perennial presidential battleground, Pennsylvania is also highly competitive at the state level as one of only three states in the country with a divided legislature. The stakes are particularly high in 2026, with Democratic Governor Josh Shapiro on the ballot. With several recent special elections highlighting how closely contested control of the state has been, Pennsylvania remains a central focus for efforts to shape the state’s political balance and policy direction in the years ahead.
