Kansas GOP Supermajority's Sweet 16

After the 2010 election, Kansas Republicans entered the 2011 legislative session with veto-proof majorities in both the Kansas House and Senate.

Sixteen years later, they still have them.

That means the Kansas Republican supermajority is officially old enough for a Sweet 16 party.

So we're throwing one.


Join us for the Kansas Republican Supermajority's Sweet 16th Birthday Party, a come-and-go fundraiser supporting Jason Probst for Kansas House District 102.


How it Works


Every good birthday party needs presents.

Bring a $25 contribution to Jason's campaign, and we'll take care of the rest: a piece of birthday cake, a drink, and an exclusive “on the day you were born” memento to take home. Plus, be there at 6:00 p.m. to hear Jason talk about the many “gifts” the Kansas GOP has given us over the years. It should be fun.


Why We're Doing This


Sixteen years is a long time to hold veto-proof majorities in both chambers of the Kansas Legislature.

Long enough that we think it's fair to ask:

  • Are your taxes lower?
  • Is your cost of living down?
  • Do you feel like things have gotten better?

Those are questions every voter gets to answer for themselves.

 

Contribution rules

  1. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
  2. I am at least eighteen years old.
  3. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
