Your investment in this space will generate long-term returns toward change. People’s Action owns our property outright. Now we need to build out the space. We are raising $1.2 million to cover the costs of design and construction of the building.
In the end, we will no longer pay rent for our national headquarters. Rent for this quality of space would cost $150,000 a year, meaning in four years that initial $600,000 investment will have paid off. Plus, the value of the property will climb with this redesign and People’s Action will own a property worth at least $2.5 million dollars, providing the organization with a long term sustainable investment that will protect the organization through thick and thin.
