I am a native of Wilmington, the daughter of third-generation family business owners, and an at-large member of Wilmington City Council. I spent my childhood in my family's florist and greenhouse, and I learned how to work hard and solve problems, when to make sacrifices, how to treat people, and why it was important to serve my community. I've spent my two terms on council tackling our city's deficit, advocating for vital safety services and renewed investment in our aging infrastructure, and addressing critical needs at our water treatment facility and reservoirs to ensure safe drinking water. I've facilitated difficult and at times controversial discussions with respect, research, transparency, and conscience.
