Swing Left District Funds

Help New York Democrats win competitive U.S. House races

In 2018, Democrats took back the U.S. House, in large part because of New York congressional districts that flipped from red to blue. Winning competitive districts in New York is critical to protecting the Democratic majority in the U.S. House this November.

Donate today and 100% of your donation goes directly to the Democratic nominees in six key races: NY-01, NY-03, NY-17, NY-18, NY-19, and NY-22.

Donations will be held by Swing Left until June 29, 2022, one day after the Democratic primary in New York. On June 29, 2022, Swing Left will allocate all funds equally among the Democratic candidates for Congress who are running in a district that is (1) located in the state of New York; and (2) rated as “Lean Democratic”, “Lean Republican” or “Toss-Up” by Cook Political Report on June 29, 2022. If there is a Democratic nominee already declared, Swing Left will distribute the corresponding funds within 10 days of June 29, 2022. If not, Swing Left will distribute the corresponding funds within 10 days of a Democratic nominee being declared. If no Democratic nominee is declared, or if the district is subsequently drawn out of the map due to redistricting, the allocated funds will be reallocated among the other districts in New York that meet the criteria above. If no districts meet both criteria above on June 29, 2022, the donated funds will go to Swing Left.
