Help Ohio Voters Say "No!" in August

The GOP-controlled Ohio state legislature is going to great lengths to defeat a November pro-choice ballot initiative. They've schedule a referendum in in the middle of summer to ask voters to approve Issue 1, a constitutional amendment that would make it much harder to pass a pro-choice ballot initiative this November.

The Ohio Democratic Party, led by Liz Walters, is organizing to stop Issue 1. It now has organizing teams in 63 of Ohio’s counties, and they have a goal of knocking on 523,000 doors and making 135,000 calls.
