Sylvia has been serving as a trustee for CUSD for the last five years, and as an active parent volunteer for over a decade. She brings years of experience serving on multiple district committees and as a former PTO president. As immediate past president of the board, she has led our district through COVID recovery, and increased resources for mental health and academic support programs, decreasing class sizes and increasing middle school electives.

Sylvia is the only candidate to have received an early endorsement from the teachers' union. Her proven leadership and track record has shown that understands student needs, has deep knowledge of our district, and listens to community voice.

That's why we're asking for your support to re-elect Sylvia. Our district has made great strides in the past few years, but the work is not done. We want to see all 13,500 children in our district thriving in their schools and we need stable leadership to see it through.

To run an effective reelection campaign, we need to raise funds. Campaigns cost money - to make yard signs, print flyers, buy postage. Any amount you can give is greatly appreciated!
