As an advocate, community activist, and most of all, a parent in Arlington Public Schools, I know that we can do so much more to ensure that APS is working to provide the best service to each and every student.

This is why for the last 12 years, I’ve worked tirelessly to be a voice and a fighter for not only my children but for all students, such as advocating for and working with my delegate to introduce legislation to identify struggling readers early and to provide evidence-based instruction (HB 332), which benefits all students.

There is much more work that needs to be done to fulfill our vision of how how much greater our school district can be.
