Individuals may contribute up to $9,900 to Take Back NY-3. Non-corporate multicandidate PACs may contribute up to $15,000. All contributions will be allocated equally between Gillibrand for Senate (“GFS”) and Suozzi for Congress (“SFC”) (each a “Participant”), except that contributions from corporate PACs, for-profit businesses, and federal lobbyists will be allocated entirely to SFC. Corporate contributions are prohibited; oil and tobacco industry contributions will not be accepted. For contributions made on or before February 13, 2024, the first $3,300 from a person or $5,000 from a PAC allocated to SFC will be designated for the special election. For contributions allocated to GFS, the first $3,300 from a person or $5,000 from a PAC will be designated for the primary and the next $3,300 from a person or $5,000 from a PAC allocated to GFS will be designated for the general election. For contributions allocated to GFS but made after primary election, the full amount of the contribution, up to $3,300 from a person and $5,000 from a PAC, will be designated for the general election.
Any contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant by contacting cjgrover@vlpc.com. The allocation formula above may change if any contributor makes a contribution that, when allocated, would exceed the amount that the contributor may lawfully give to any participant.
