Star Athlete Dies, DC Pushes Fathers Away

A star student-athlete was tragically killed at one of DC's best schools. A group of 10 to 15 boys fled the scene—and not a single one has been caught. Our students are terrified.

A group of fathers stood up to protect our youth and show them they are supported. The students met us with warm handshakes and deep gratitude. But the school administration? They tried to turn us away.

It begs a devastating question: How many of those 10 to 15 boys suspected of killing a football captain have active fathers in their lives? Or have they also been turned away?

Fathers should never be treated as a threat when they are trying to protect their community. I am not waiting for permission from the establishment to stand up for our children.

If they won't welcome us at the doors, we will take our message directly to the streets. We are blanketing all eight Wards of D.C. with a radical message: To help our students succeed, we need mothers AND fathers on the field.

🚨 OUR EMERGENCY GOAL: We are raising $500 to print the next batch of 100 posters tonight.

Pitch in as much as you can. Join our movement to make D.C. Safe, Affordable, and Free as the 51st State.

Choose your contribution level to help us hit our $500 goal tonight:

  • $200 — The Protector: Pays for 40 posters, zip-ties, and fully equips our street team for an intersection.
  • $51 — Fuel the Fight: Funds a heavy stack of 10 posters to go up tomorrow morning. (This is our most urgent need!)
  • $25 — Grassroots Support: Chips in to keep the movement alive and fight back against the establishment.
