Each election cycle since 2018, I have been proud to endorse 5 Democratic candidates in an effort to amplify key races around the country in support of a Democratic majority in Congress.
I am happy to be partnering on this project with the Human Rights Campaign, the nation's largest LGBTQ+ civil rights organization. They share my commitment to supporting pro-equality candidates across the country.
This year, I’ll be endorsing my “Flip 5” candidate slate to flip the House of Representatives blue. And for my first Flip 5 candidate of the 2026 cycle, I am very proud to endorse JoAnna Mendoza, the Democrat running in Arizona’s 6th District!
According to the latest polls, the race for Arizona’s 6th is a toss-up. JoAnna is running in a statistical tie against a true Trumper. Flipping the House blue this November runs right through Arizona’s 6th District, with JoAnna leading the way!
JoAnna is a proud Mom, a proud veteran and a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community. As a lifelong Arizonan, JoAnna is ready to bring the Arizona values of honesty, integrity, and accountability to Washington.
JoAnna grew up in poverty, working in the cotton fields alongside her parents to help make ends meet. She achieved the American Dream retiring from the U.S. Marine Corps with 20 years of military service.
Now, she’s ready to serve again on behalf of Arizona’s 6th District in the U.S. House of Representatives.
