Hi, I am Takema Keyes. I am running for the 2024 election for the Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner for SMD 8B01. I have experience in leadership and collaborating with community partners and leaders. I have led service projects (i.e., Founder of Nourish and Flourish), partnering with organizations to provide food and other resources to the community. In addition, I have mentored the youth and participated in community events that target specific areas such as public safety, education, and affordable and efficient housing in the District. I will actively work to serve my community and increase their knowledge of the ANC role and the importance of civic engagement. My passion will show the work I am ready to do for my community and continue to be a change agent. With your support, we can address community concerns, including public safety, food insecurity, and the housing crisis.
