Donate to Tam Truong for SJ D8 City Council 2024

District 8 is my home. It’s the neighborhood I was raised in – the same neighborhood my wife and I are raising our two young children in – and I want them to grow up in an even better neighborhood than the one I had when I was growing up here.

When I immigrated here as a teenager, I went to Chaboya Middle School and graduated from Silver Creek High School when I was 17. I’ve seen first-hand how this community has changed in so many ways for the countless neighbors I’ve connected with over the decades, be it through my professional or personal experiences.

I want to address the things we are all concerned about – traffic safety, crime, homelessness – because it affects everyone. It’s simple to me – I have seen the highs and lows of this community, its strengths and weaknesses, and I know what the community needs right now.

We have no time to waste, I’m ready to hit the ground running and provide District 8 the leadership it deserves.
