Tanner Kilander

Keep Tanner Kilander on the Milwaukee County Circuit Court!

Judge Tanner is a former social worker and public defender who has dedicated her life to protecting families. She earned her degrees from Marquette University, where she co-founded the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinic and worked to help serve her community in a tangible way.

She has dedicated her multi-decade career to justice and advocacy, serving our community as a social worker, a foster parent, a public defender, and a youth softball coach. She has proudly raised her three daughters right here in the city of Milwaukee.

Appointed to the bench by Governor Tony Evers, Judge Tanner is now running to retain her seat as Milwaukee County Court Judge to ensure every single person who steps into her courtroom is heard, seen, and treated with dignity.
