Congress Needs A Kindergarten Teacher

Tanya Lloyd is a middle-aged mom, a kindergarten teacher, and a farm girl at heart, and she is mad as hell. She's had enough. She is running for U.S. Congress to not only serve people in the Texas 27th district but also for democracy for all of us and the revival of rural America.

FOR DEMOCRACY AND THE RURAL AMERICA REVIVAL

On the one hand, the extreme attacks on our public education system, women, people of color, immigrants, national parks, healthcare programs, and virtually every single public program threaten our communities and our democracy. On the other hand, the timid response from our Democratic leaders that doesn't amount to much more than strongly worded letters is deeply troubling.

Tanya is running to fight inaction, cowardice, and cruelty. She is one of us.

Texas's 27th congressional district can be flipped, but only if we invest our resources, organizing power, and dedication. We are building a robust organizing muscle to end harmful policies and politics.

Tanya's priorities are:

1. Healthcare must be a right, not a privilege.
2. Families need universal daycare.
3. Every job should pay a decent wage.
4. Supply management must guide our farming policy to ensure rural sustainability
