Tanya G. Patiño is a lifelong resident of Archer Heights, youth mentor and Civil Engineer. She was the first in her family to earn a bachelor’s degree and graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign’s Department of Civil Engineering. She is the daughter of immigrants and was raised in a union household. Tanya, 28, is devoted to her community, serves as a volunteer soccer coach, has guided dozens of youth, and for years has been a resource for families on the southwest side.


Contribution rules

  1. I am at least eighteen years old.
  2. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  3. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
  4. I understand that by ordinance of the City of Chicago, no lobbyist registered with the Board of Ethics, or person who has done business with City within the preceding four reporting years, or person who is seeking to do business with the City, shall contribute over $1,500 during a calendar year. This includes persons doing or seeking to do business with the: City of Chicago, Chicago Transit Authority, Board of Education, Chicago Park District, Chicago City Colleges, or Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority.
