Following his election win last year, Tarik Khan put his training in healthcare and research to good use. Now defending his seat for the first time in Spring 2024, Tarik will need your help to ensure he can continue his work for the community.
During his first term, Tarik has passed legislation that addresses safe staffing for nurses, affordable housing, and medical debt cancellation. Tarik has also helped write several dozen more bills focusing on improving access to quality healthcare, passing common sense gun reform, addressing our climate crisis, and reforming our broken criminal justice system.
Tarik sits on the Health, Human Services, Agriculture & Rural Affairs, Housing & Community Development, and Aging & Older Adult Services. He will also serve as Co-Chair of the PA House Diabetes Caucus, Chair of the Pennsylvania Legislative Black Caucus’ Subcommittee on Health Equity, and is Vice-Chair of the newly created Pennsylvania Legislative Asian Pacific Caucus.
