I’m running to be your next Cook County Assessor because I know how to bring real, transformative change.

My focus will be on easing the tax burden for homeowners, creating fairness in property valuations, and restoring integrity to a system that impacts so many lives.

I currently lead a key stakeholder office in the property tax system, working directly with the Assessor’s leadership and other county offices to address operational and valuation issues. As a lawyer with over 16 years of property tax experience, I know the system’s flaws — and I’m ready to fix them on day one.

Property owners shouldn’t face crushing tax hikes or uncertainty. Business owners shouldn’t fear closure because of unfair assessments. We deserve a system driven by fairness, not politics. I have the knowledge, skills, and experience to deliver the change Cook County needs.

As Assessor, I will:

1. Fight to reduce the tax burden on homeowners
2. Establish fair and transparent valuation practices
3. Fix the broken methodology that leads to skyrocketing assessments and unjust and inequitable tax increases
4. Bring integrity, equity, and accountability back to the office

The 2026 Assessor election is a race that can shape the future of Cook County or keep it broken. Real change does not happen without support. The incumbent has millions of dollars at his disposal, but we have something stronger: people's power and the power to change an ineffective and burdensome system.
