"N" is a woman who has persevered through a kidnapping, sexual assault, being forced to leave her child in her homeland, traveling thousands of miles, fighting to seek asylum in this country and having a baby in an unfamiliar land.


This opportunity — one that would give N the agency and confidence to build her life in this country — is still out of her reach simply because of the financial reality of an asylum seeker, as she had to travel with little to nothing, and has been forced to survive relying on the kindness of other people. But, we won’t let this hold her back.
